Eishockey / Ice-hockey (for beginners)

We are organising sessions of "Ice-hockey for beginners" sessions in Wettingen. We rent the ice and the equipment. The goal of these events is to have people discover the sport in real life, not just on TV...
If you are interested, be sure to be a member of the PSI Sportclub Wintersports section. An email will be sent to all section members when the next session is organised.

About the event:

• I have never skated in my life, this is not for me: Wrong! In our previous events, first-timers have enjoyed themselves and are willing to return. Focusing on the puck and the other players distracts most beginners from the fear of being far from the walls.
• Will I get hurt? violence and checks are not part of the programme. With the hockey gear, falling does not hurt. Since we are all beginners, the speed is very low :)
• Will I spend my time lying on the ice? Actually, you can rely on the stick as a third leg.
• I think I will need some help: there is always 1 or 2 persons that know how to skate and are ready to help you, play passes with you
• How much will it cost? Basic cost is around 85 CHF per participant, for a 2-hour ice and gear rental.
